Portative Organ II: Towards Expressivity and Flexibility / Órgano portativo II: hacia la expresividad y la flexibilidad

Presentation

Once initiated in the organ, it is essential that the performer plays with precision and learn about the expressive possibilities of the instrument. This course focuses on developing a strong bellows technique, which allows for great flexibility and accuracy of playing. The course also explores the use of free rhythm and rhetorical playing through the study of different medieval repertoires. The participant will contemplate the most poetic side of the instrument and expand the number of pieces of his/her repertoire.

Una vez iniciado en el órgano, es fundamental que el intérprete trabaje con precisión y explore las posibilidades expresivas del instrumento. Este curso se enfoca en desarrollar una técnica sólida que permita una gran flexibilidad y precisión al tocar. El curso también explora el uso del ritmo libre y la interpretación retórica a través del estudio de diferentes repertorios medievales. El estudiante contemplará el lado más poético del instrumento y ampliará el número de piezas de su repertorio.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
An intermediate-level portative organ technique. Knowledge of basic music theory, and modern music notation. Un nivel internedio de técnica de órgan portativo. Conocimiento de fundamentos musicale, lectura de notación musical moderna, y capacidad de lectura en inglés.
